Some of our group have been around for many years and have long memories. Some have been here just long enough to have witnessed the division created since the 2022 local government election. The loss of niceties that make Lions Bay unique has led to the creation of this forum.
We believe residents want to be engaged, involved and informed in a more thoughtful space than what is currently available elsewhere.
Earlier this year our alternative was suddenly deemed to be “a news organization”, not a community group as intended. Thanks to Federal legislation this puzzling decision means its content cannot be viewed inside Canada. So here we are with a new name, a new forum and a slightly refined focus.
Being informed is important for our village and our future. We encourage you to attend/log in to council meetings or watch the videos.
